Your questions answered
Here is where you will find a compilation of frequently asked questions from our school and student community. Should you have questions that are not addressed here, feel free to get in touch.
What age children participate in the visits?
We bring together groups from primary school year 6 and secondary school years 7 and 8. There are plans to extend this in the future.
Will there be support for the administration and organisation of the visit?
We have an experienced team of primary and secondary teachers along with administrative staff who will collectively support each school visit. We provide the additional resources needed and cover the direct costs incurred by the visiting students. We take care of arranging all travel for our visitors and cover their travel costs. Essentially all the host school is required to do is provide a welcoming class of students, a classroom space, and essential resources such as screens, we take care of the rest.
Where do visiting students stay whilst in the UK?
We arrange accommodation for our visiting students, usually within purpose-built facilities, with good access to the host school. Transport to and from the school is organised by us.
Where is the Hebei Province and how many schools wish to visit?
Hebei Province is the sixth most populous in China, home to 75 million people. 'Hebei' literally means 'North of the river', in this case the Yellow River. The Province is the only one in China boasting highlands, plains, mountains, lakes and coastline. Hebei has 58 key heritage sites, and ranks first in the country for cultural and historic sites. The Province has five UNESCO World Heritage Sites and shares a Global Geopark with Beijing Municipality.
We have around 60 schools in the Province all eager to participate in a hosted visit to the UK.
