Education is at the heart of UNESCO's mission to build peace, eradicate poverty and drive sustainable development. It is a human right for all throughout life. The Organisation is the only United Nations agency with a mandate to cover all aspects of education.
English Riviera Geopark
The whole of Torbay has been designated a Geopark by UNESCO because of the unique and spectacular geology and natural environment.
This English Riviera Geopark is fairly unique in that it also happens to encompass one of the UK’s most popular seaside resorts. It is one of only two ‘urban’ geoparks in the UK.

Geomon
Snowdonia (Eryri) and Anglesey UNESCO World Heritage sites - including Castles and town walls of Edward I (Caernarfon), slate landscape of north Wales. Plenty of outdoor activities in addition to understanding Welsh as a different culture.
